Welcome to Greenside @ Queen Street, our exciting new super hub in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town.
Ideally located just moments from Greenside @ George Street, St Andrew Square, the Assembly Rooms and a host of Free Fringe venues, Queen Street sits at the centre of one of the Festival’s busiest cultural quarter. The arrival of Greenside @ Queen Street creates an exciting new Fringe destination, bringing almost 500 Fringe shows within just a few minutes’ walk of one another.
With nine performance spaces, Greenside @ Queen Street becomes one of the largest single-site venue hubs at the Edinburgh Fringe, combining everything companies have come to expect from Greenside with an exciting new scale and ambition.
At the heart of the venue is the Emerald Theatre, a spectacular 250-seat fully raked, year-round theatre and the largest performance space Greenside has ever operated. Alongside it are eight flexible studio spaces, each designed to the same high technical standards, flexibility and welcoming atmosphere that have become synonymous with Greenside.
